What Are The Benefits Of A Natural Diet?

By Jose Bautista

A natural diet must be part of our lifestyle, because it improves continuously our health. Regular consumption of natural, unprocessed foods low in saturated fat and rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and good fats (like olive oil) will reduce the risk of various diseases. Anyone can follow a natural diet, regardless of age and special needs.

The consumption of raw food has countless benefits for our health. Many products contain enzymes that help in digestion. A natural diet provides phytochemicals, whose effects on health are similar to those of vitamins and minerals. By cooking, most enzymes are destroyed.

Eat natural foods as much as possible. Make sure that at least half of your meals are composed of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds. Avoid prepared foods that contain additives, preservatives and chemicals.

Because they provide the necessary amount of vitamins and fiber, vegetables and fruits represent the basis of a natural diet. This is possible because most fruits and vegetables are harder to digest, consuming more energy; thus, natural foods help you to achieve not only a better health, but also a perfect weight. Cereals are another important part of the natural diet, because without them any diet can cause various diseases of the digestive system. Keep in mind that you should opt for whole grains and not for processed cereals, which also contain a high intake of sugar.

As I mentioned before, a natural diet can be followed anytime, by anyone. Just consider the huge benefits brought by such a lifestyle. Remember to add in your daily menu vegetable proteins; all you have to do is to consume seeds, whole grains, soy and peanuts.

A natural diet requires a plan, a purpose and the motivation to consume a variety of healthy foods every day. It is important to pay attention not only to the food consumed, but also to those nutrients that are not part of our diet. Food is one of the great pleasures of life. All foods can be part of a natural diet, if they are consumed with moderation, in the right way. - 29161
